About CalcHub
CalcHub is a free collection of tools for the calculations people actually need day to day — no sign-up, no waiting. The goal is simple: someone arriving from a search should get their answer immediately.
The site currently offers 24 calculators and tools across finance, health, everyday life, dates, math, and utilities, in both Korean and English.
How these are built
First, the basis of each calculation is stated openly. Every page lists the rates and standards applied, along with the statute or public-agency source behind them, so you can check why a number came out the way it did rather than taking it on faith.
Second, approximations are labelled as such. The income tax in the salary calculator, for example, applies progressive tax brackets rather than reproducing the National Tax Service's simplified withholding table exactly. Limitations like this are stated on the result screen.
Third, nothing you type is collected. Many of these calculators handle sensitive values — salary, height and weight, date of birth — so every calculation runs entirely in your browser. No input is transmitted to or stored on a server.
Accuracy and updates
Values that change annually — social insurance rates, the minimum wage, tax thresholds — are updated when revisions take effect, and each page notes which year it reflects. For anything requiring legal interpretation or dependent on individual circumstances, please confirm with a qualified professional (tax accountant, labor attorney, physician) rather than relying on this site alone.
If you find a result that doesn't match reality or a standard that has gone out of date, please let us know so it can be corrected.
Operation and revenue
CalcHub is built and run by an individual. Advertising and affiliate links may be displayed to cover hosting and domain costs, and their presence is disclosed on the page. They do not influence how calculations work or what the content says.
